Affinity Group believes the acquisition will enrich its relationship with customers.
The Affinity Group, parent company to Dexter-Russell, has acquired Chef Revival from San Jamar. The complete Chef Revival product line, including chef apparel, aprons, crew uniforms, towels, hats and hair nets, are included in the purchase.
American Promotional Products of North Charleston, S.C., another Affinity Group company that markets uniform and decorates garments, will operate Chef Revival. The Affinity Group plans to have its Dexter-Russell sales force sell the Chef Revival line, otherwise the two brands will function and invoice independently.
To enable a smooth transition, San Jamar will continue customer service, receive Chef Revival purchase orders, ship and invoice product under all existing agreements through the end of 2013. Effective no later than January 2, 2014, Chef Revival will receive all purchase orders and begin shipments and invoicing from South Carolina.
