Starbucks veteran to lead the U.K. company's 53 U.S. locations. 

Pret A Manger, a London-based quick-serve restaurant and coffee shop, named Robert Naylor the new president of its U.S. operations. A 30-year veteran of the retail industry, Naylor comes to Pret A Manger from Starbucks where he oversaw operations in Asia Pacific and France.

With oversight of Pret's U.S. locations, Naylor will also focus on the company's ongoing and future retail expansion.

Pret A Manger has more than 300 locations worldwide, mostly in the U.K., as well as in Paris and Hong Kong. The company has 53 U.S. locations in the New York City, Chicago, Boston and Washington, D.C. markets.
