Buffets, Inc., parent company of Hometown Buffy, Ryan's and Old Country Buffet among others, created two new positions in its executive team.
Chip Romp was named vice president of training and Jay Allen was named senior vice president of real estate and development.
Romp comes to Buffets from Fazoli's, where he served as vice president of training, development and ops services.
Allen has more than 25 years of experience in the industry, most recently serving as vice president of restaurant development for Focus Brands, focusing on Schlotzsky's, Cinnabon and Carvel Ice Cream.
