Conte Becomes FMP President

Grato becomes president emeritus. 

Franklin Machine Products, Inc. promoted Michael Conte to president. Joe Grato, FMP's president for 13 years, takes on the title of president emeritus and the role of chairman for the FMP business unit, as a part of a planned succession process.

In addition, Grato joins the Board of Directors for Diversified Foodservice Supply, Inc., FMP's parent company.

Through his 24-year tenure with the company, Conte has held the positions of general manager, vice president and, most recently, executive vice-president and chief operating officer. In his new role, Conte will continue stewardship of the FMP brand, as well as work with his counterparts in the DFSI family of companies to find ways to enhance their offerings to the industry.
