Blyth sells the canned fuel company in an effort to re-focus its business.

Blyth, Inc. sold its Sterno business, a manufacturer and distributor of canned fuel and tabletop lighting products and accessories for the foodservice industry, to Candle Lamp Company, LLC. Sterno's brands include Sterno, Handy Fuel, QuickFlame and Sterno Decorative Lighting Collection.

Owned by Westar Capital LLC, Riverside, Calif.-based Candle Lamp manufactures food heating and table lighting solutions for the foodservice industry.

Blyth's focus on becoming a direct-to-consumer company led to its decision to sell Sterno, which was considered a non-core asset.
