Minnesota entrepreneur was among the first inducted into the state's restaurant hall of fame.
Patrick Murray, the second-generation owner of Minnesota-based Murray's Steakhouse and Service Ideas, Inc., passed away on July 30, 2012. He was 72 years old.
A member of the Minnesota Restaurant Hall of Fame, Murray was active in many Minneapolis area civic organizations and clubs including president of Meet Minneapolis (formerly GMCVA). He was also honorary chairman of the National Kidney Foundation for 25 years.
Murray is survived by his wife Joyce; sons Timothy Murray and James Murray; and daughters Christina Brandt, Jill Kummings and Megan Blohowiak.
Per the family's request, memorials may be made to the donor's charity of choice.
