The Society of Hospitality and Foodservice Management recognized five members with its 2017 Directors’ Awards.
Carolyn Milea is the recipient of the Community Service Award, given to the SHFM Member that has gone above and beyond to help support the corporate foodservice and workplace hospitality industry, as well as their local community.
Karen DiPeri, president at HMG+, is the recipient of the Spirit Award, presented to an individual who consistently demonstrates the qualities of loyalty, dedication and enthusiasm for SHFM.
Heather Leanna, senior facilities officer, hospitality and meeting services at International Monetary Fund is the recipient of the Leadership Award, recognizing an individual whose work on behalf of SHFM and the corporate foodservice and workplace hospitality industry has resulted in the demonstration of outstanding leadership qualities.
Russ Benson, senior associate at Innovative Hospitality Solutions is the recipient of the Richard Ysmael Distinguished Service Award, recognizing an individual who has been diligent in service to corporate foodservice and workplace hospitality and who has consistently demonstrated the ideals of dedication, integrity, professionalism and leadership.
Mark Bickford, CEO, Corporate Services, North America at Sodexo is the recipient of the Lifetime Achievement Award, recognizing a lifetime of contributions and service to the corporate foodservice and workplace hospitality industry.
SHFM will present its President’s and Pacifico Awards during the organization’s upcoming national conference.
