AllergyEats, an online guide to allergy-friendly restaurants nationwide, has listed the most allergy-friendly restaurant chains based on feedback from the food allergy community.
Restaurants were rated solely on how well they've accommodated food-allergic diners, and not on any other factors, such as ambiance or food quality.
The guide groups restaurant chains into three categories: more than 200 units, 50 to 200 units and less than 50 units.
Following are the top five allergy-friendly restaurant chains with more than 200 units:
- Red Robin Gourmet Burgers
- P.F. Chang's China Bistro
- Chipotle Mexican Grill
- Outback Steakhouse
- Longhorn Steakhouse
Following are the top five allergy-friendly restaurant chains with 50 to 200 units:
- Bonefish Grill
- Ninety Nine Restaurant
- Zpizza
- Uno Chicago Grill
- Bertucci's Brick Oven Restaurant
Following are the top five allergy friendly restaurant chains with less than 50 units:
- Burton's Grill
- Maggiano's Little Italy
- Not Your Average Joe's
- Legal Sea Foods
- Papa Razzi
The following restaurant chains (of all sizes) were recommended more often than any other, with the highest number of positive ratings and reviews on AllergyEats.com:
