Auntie Anne’s, Big Bad Breakfast, Hard Rock and Poke Works announce personnel changes.

LTI promoted Willis Smith to director of educational sales for the Georgia-based leading manufacturer and designer of modular and custom food serving counters, fabrication and serving technologies. Smith has been with LTI since 2007 when he joined as a VisionDesign project manager.

As the latest step in further developing its presence in the U.S. and beyond, foodservice equipment manufacturer Flexserve appointed chef Adam Dyer as director of culinary for its Americas business.

Luis Quezada was hired to serve as executive chef for The Abbey Resort. The Wisconsin-based resort features multiple concepts, including 20 West, Waterfront Restaurant, Gazebo Grill and Cafe Latte, as well as in-room dining, catering and more.

Longtime Darden executive Steve Otto was hired to serve as vice president of manufacturer partnerships for the Marcone Group Commercial Kitchen Division, which distributes parts for commercial kitchen equipment.

St. Louis-based Elite Cuisine and Kansas City’s Superior Vend-All merged to form Apex Restaurant and Market Solutions, a Missouri-based corporate foodservice company.

Hard Rock International promoted longtime executive Anibal Fernandez to senior vice president of its Cafe Division. He most recently served as vice president of franchise operations and business development.

Casual dining chain Texas Roadhouse promoted Gina Tobin to president. She had previously served as chief learning and culture officer.

In a move aimed at helping fuel its expansion plans, Big Bad Breakfast appointed Wayne Baumgardner to serve as chief operating officer (COO) and Jeffry Gordon as chief administrative officer for the 10-unit chain that serves a southern-inspired menu.

Winholt tapped Bryan Spencer to serve as national accounts manager for the New York-based manufacturer’s foodservice segment.

Scott MacKaben was named sr. vice president of category management for TriMark USA, a Massachusetts-based foodservice equipment and supplies dealer.

New Jersey-based manufacturer Krowne hired Jon Rodriguez to serve as the company’s foodservice Western regional sales manager.

T&S Brass and Bronze Works tapped Augusto Ricci to be sales manager for Southern Europe.

Pecinka Ferri and Wallin Foodservice Resources add talent while Dave Swain Associates updates its line card.

Elior North America, a contract foodservice operator, promoted three members of its leadership team and hired two more executives.

Restaurant operators from Texas Roadhouse, Applebee’s, Walk-On’s Sports Bistreaux and Blaze Pizza each announced personnel changes within their organizations.

Maryland-based commercial brick oven manufacturer Marra Forni added John Wilson to its sales team. Wilson will work in Marra Forni’s central region.

Tony Moralejo was appointed president of Applebee’s. He replaces John Cywinski, who is leaving parent company Dine Brands for a CEO position at another restaurant company, per a release announcing these transitions.
