Beef O'Brady's buys into a new concept, The Egg & I Restaurants scramble into a new market, Seattle's Best expands the use of a new menu concept and much more.

Beef 'O' Brady's, a 213-unit franchise of family sports pubs and restaurants, acquired the rights to franchise The Brass Tap, a six-unit chain of upscale craft beer and wine bars. Jeff Martin, Gary Bailey and Steve Slowey, founders of The Brass Tap, will continue their involvement with the brand as shareholders, partners and franchise owners of the three open Florida units.

BRIO Tuscan Grille restaurants nationwide launched an online ordering system for carryout orders.

With the opening of three locations abroad, Domino's Pizza now has 5,000 international locations, according to a company release. The three locations that will help Domino's reach this milestone are Rio de Janeiro, Brazil; Cologne, Germany; and Penang, Malaysia.

The Egg & I Restaurants opened a location in Plano, Texas, its 58th restaurant systemwide.

Miami-based grilled chicken restaurant chain Pollo Tropical reached a multi-unit franchise agreement in Guatemala that will result in the concept's first five restaurants opening in the country.

Casual dining chain Red Robin Gourmet Burgers, Inc. has acquired an existing Red Robin franchised restaurant in Clifton, N.J., from Parsippany, N.J.-based UBA Enterprises for approximately $3.2 million.

Seattle's Best Coffee, part of Starbucks Corporation, opened a location featuring its commuter-centric menu near the Barclay's Center in Brooklyn, N.Y., operated by franchisee Eddie Shamah. The concept menu, which debuted as a test in Chicago in March, includes coffee beverages, sandwiches and snacks.

Sprinkles Cupcakes signed a franchise agreement with M.H. Alshaya Co. M.H. Alshaya, who agreed to bring the cupcakes-only concept to ten countries in the Middle East. Other brands M.H. Alshaya Co. franchises include Starbucks, P.F. Chang's, Cheesecake Factory, Pinkberry and Shake Shack.

Starbucks Coffee Company (NASDAQ: SBUX) opened its first location in Costa Rica.

Twin Peaks Restaurants signed a multi-unit development agreement with franchisee and restaurant industry veteran Brad Smith who will open the chain's first four locations in Mississippi. Twin Peaks has 23 locations in 10 states.

Wingstop signed a multi-unit development agreement to open 12 new restaurants throughout the state of Oregon with franchisee D&T Wings, LLC. The agreement calls for adding locations in Portland, Multnomah, Clackamas, Bend, Eugene, Springfield, Medford as well as Boise City, Idaho.
