Centre Partners agrees to purchase the quick-serve seafood concept.

Private equity firm Sun Capital Partners reached an agreement to sell Captain D's Seafood Restaurant to Centre Partners, another private equity firm. Terms of the private transaction were not disclosed.

Headquartered in Nashville, Captain D's owns, operates and franchises 527 restaurants in 25 states and on military bases around the world. Sun Capital is selling the quick-serve seafood concept after it posted 27 consecutive periods of same store sales growth, according to a company release.
