For Danielle McMiller, vice president of sales and marketing for Structural Concepts, her thoughts are never far from the world of foodservice.
As she rode hundreds of miles across Iowa during the recent 2016 RAGBRAI, a seven-day endeavor, the reality of the industry hit home for McMiller. She reflected that, although a single Iowa farmer feeds 258 people, it’s up to America’s foodservice professionals to ensure that fresh food is safely offered to consumers across the country.
While growing and harvesting food may not be the most attractive process, bringing it to consumers can be. Foodservice consultants and dealers can provide operators with creative and fun ways to display fresh food.
