  • Foodservice Equipment Distributors Association (FEDA) announced it will present its prestigious Sam Anoff Lifetime Achievement Award to Kenneth Gill, founder of The Gill Group, which encompasses Gill Marketing.
  • Kim Everett

    Franklin Machine Products
    appointed Kim Everett its sales manager for the Southeast.
  • Granite City Food & Brewery promoted Darius Gilanfar to chief operating officer to oversee field operations, purchasing and kitchen management. Eric LaClair, who has held the position of district operator, will assume Gilanfar's position as SVP.
  • Dishwasher manufacturer Jackson MSC LLC, named Randy Karas president.
  • Jamba Juice announced that Steven Berrard, its chairman of the board, will also serve as interim chief executive officer, replacing Paul Clayton, who resigned.
  • Kelly Kavanaugh has joined Mirkovich and Associates, a Lombard, Ill.-based manufacturers' rep firm, as a key accounts manager.
  • NSF International promoted Mike Chaudron from national sales manager to director of business development.
  •      Andy McGarrett

    Pitco
    appointed Andy McGarrett as vice president, Western region sales, for the company's Pitco and MagiKitch'n brands.
  • Pizza Fusion, the Fort Lauderdale, Fla.-based restaurant chain, named Mark Begelman as chief executive officer.
  • PrimeSource, a Dallas-based foodservice equipment dealer, promoted Wes Blair to president and chief operating officer.
  • Quiznos promoted Dave Deno from president to president and chief executive officer and named Greg Brenneman executive chairman of the board.
  • Shat-R-Shield named George Mabin vice president sales and marketing, overseeing the company's activity in North America. Mabin comes to Shat-R-Shield from Westinghouse Lighting Corp.
  • Sonic announced it has expanded the role of vice president of product/segment management, currently held by Paul Macaluso, to vice president of marketing.
  • Standex International Corp. appointed EJ Morrow president of the Cooking Solutions division of its Food Service Equipment Group.
  • Mike Matthies will head up Webb Design's Strategic Planning Studio, which will provide market analysis, foodservice master planning, request for proposal and contract negotiation expertise, and other design assistance.
