Checkers Adds to Senior Management Team

By FES Staff -- Foodservice Equipment & Supplies, 7/16/2008 12:45:00 PM

Checkers Drive-In Restaurants hired Valerie McCartney as director of finance development for the Western United States and Diane Phibbs as director of franchise sales and support. Don Miller has assumed the role of franchise development for the Eastern United States.

These newly created positions were strategically implemented to provide an organizational structure that allows the company to introduce aggressive growth plans and franchising objectives, according to a Checkers news release.

McCartney, a 20-year industry veteran, has worked with Taco Bell, Pizza Hut and Pepsi-Cola, and most recently served as director of franchise sales and development at Johnny Rockets. Phibbs has 25 years of experience and most recently served as director of franchise sales for Beef ‘O’ Brady’s.
