Whataburger Announces New Regional Director of Operations

Whataburger Restaurants LP, a Corpus Christi, Texas-based operator of 700-plus made-to-order burger restaurants, promoted Maureen Miller to regional director of operations for the chain’s Southeast region. She will lead more than 30 restaurants throughout Louisiana, Mississippi and Florida, among other duties.

Miller joined Whataburger in 2005 as director of operations for the Tampa, Orlando and Tallahassee, Fla., markets. Prior to that, she served as vice president of operations for Sydran Services Inc. LLC, a Burger King franchise, and she’s also worked for AFC Enterprises as director of operations for Chesapeake Café and Bakery as well as Morrison’s.
