Sonic Announces Executive Reorganization

Sonic Corp. announced several promotions within its top management as well as realignment to the operational structure of the company. The changes take effect May 1.

Scott McLain, currently president of the company’s franchising subsidiary, will assume the additional title of president of Sonic Corp., a position previously held by Clifford Hudson, who will maintain his positions of chairman and chief executive officer. Mike Perry, previously president of the company’s restaurant operating subsidiary, will assume the newly created position of chief operating officer. 

In addition, Eddie Saroch will take over as president of Sonic Restaurants, and Rob Geresi, senior vice president, will assume responsibility for franchise services. The company also promoted Sharon Strickland to vice president of human resources.
