Burger King Names New Exec VP

Burger King named Peter Tan executive vice president and president of the chain’s Asia Pacific operations, effective immediately. Tan reports to John Chidsey, chief executive officer.

Tan joined Burger King in 2006 to oversee Asia Pacific operations based out of the chain’s Asian headquarters in Singapore. Previously, he was senior vice president and president of the China division for McDonald’s Corp., overseeing operations in Hong Kong, Taiwan and Macau.
