Cosi Names New President and CEO

Cosi Inc. hired James Hyatt as president and chief executive officer. Most recently, Hyatt served as executive vice president and global chief operations officer of Burger King Corp.

Cosi Inc. hired James Hyatt as president and chief executive officer. Most recently, Hyatt served as executive vice president and global chief operations officer of Burger King Corp.

Hyatt succeeds Interim President and CEO Robert Merritt, who will continue to serve as a member of Cosi's board of directors. With more than 20 years of industry experience at all levels of corporate and franchise restaurant operations, Hyatt worked for Burger King since 2002. Prior to that, he spent several years as a multi-unit franchisee, and also spent time at Hardee's.
