Second Call for 2006 NSF Food Safety Leadership Award Nominations

NSF International announced a second call for nominations for its 2006 Food Safety Leadership Awards (FSLA) program. The deadline to submit a nomination is Feb. 28.
The annual awards program recognizes groundbreaking achievements in food safety and protection from foodborne illness.
Nominations fall into six categories: technology breakthroughs, research advances, equipment design, product development, packaging innovation, and systems improvements. NSF also accepts entries for a special lifetime achievement award.
NSF will announce the winners May 20 during the National Restaurant Association Restaurant, Hotel-Motel Show at the McCormick Place Convention Center, Chicago.
