Benihana Shakes Up Management Team

Benihana Inc. (NASDAQ: BNHNA; BNHN) announced the resignations of Juan Garcia, president and chief administrative officer, and Jose Ortega, vice president – finance and CFO. Richard Stockinger, Benihana’s CEO, was appointed to the additional role of president.
Benihana’s Board of Directors eliminated the position of chief administrative officer as part of an overall plan to reduce corporate overhead and appointed Gene Baldwin as interim CFO, replacing Ortega.
Baldwin has served as a partner of CRG Partners Group, LLC and its predecessors, a provider of financial advisory, corporate improvement and related services, since 2002. During the performance of his duties as interim CFO, Baldwin will continue as a partner of CRG.
