New head of Electrolux Professional: Alberto Zanata

PRESS RELEASE: Alberto Zanata has been appointed new head of Electrolux Professional Products
and Executive Vice President of AB Electrolux. Zanata will be a member of Group
Management and report to President and CEO Hans Stråberg.

He has held various positions in Professional Products including President of
Electrolux Professional in North America, Vice President of Marketing and Product
Management, Factory Manager and Product Manager.

Zanata holds a degree in Electronic Engineering from the University of Padua, Italy.
He is an Italian Citizen and will be based in Pordenone, Italy.

The appointment of Zanata is effective immediately. Zanata succeeds Dr. Detlef
Munchow, who is leaving Electrolux.

Appointed in December 2008, Mark Whalen, President of Electrolux Professional
Foodservice Americas reports to Zanata. Whalen is responsible for all aspects of the
Foodservice Equipment business in the region.
