By FE&S Staff -- Foodservice Equipment & Supplies, March 18, 2009

SRE, a Miami-based foodservice design firm owned by WD Partners, announced its name will now be WD SRE.  Company execs said they changed the name to better reflect the level of integration between the two firms.

SRE, with offices in Columbus, Ohio; , Los Angeles and Miami, focuses on improving the efficiency and productivity of operations to reduce labor costs, minimize capital investment, and increase sales through best-practices. Services include operational assessments, labor systesms and prototype and retrofit facilities engineering. As a combined entity, the company has offered joint services for such clients as CBRL, Safeway, Starbucks, Benihana, Whole Foods Markets and others.
