How to Extend a Conveyor Oven’s Life Cycle

Conveyor ovens are designed to be as maintenance-free as possible, but there are a few simple steps that can be taken to help extend the service life.
Please note that the list below contains general maintenance information and should not be substituted for the manufacturer’s requirements and recommendations.
1. Once a unit cools down, wipe down the outside with a non-abrasive cloth.
2. Examine the oven periodically to make sure there is no food trapped inside.
3. Regularly remove, empty and wipe down crumb trays.
4. Because heat penetrates forced air from the conveyor belt’s bottom, these belts should be brushed off often. To accomplish this, wire brushes can be used while the belt operates at a low speed.
