Alberto Zanata was tapped to lead Electrolux Professional Products and the company appointed him executive vice president of AB Electrolux. During his tenure with the company, Zanata has held various positions including president of Electrolux Professional in North America, vice president of marketing and product management, factory manager and product manager.
Zanata succeeds Dr. Detlef Munchow, who is leaving Electrolux. Appointed in December 2008, Mark Whalen, president of Electrolux Professional Foodservice Americas, reports to Zanata. Whalen is responsible for all aspects of the foodservice equipment business in the region.
