Baskin-Robbins opened the Greenville and Spartanburg, S.C., territories for franchise development and has plans to develop more than 30 stores in the region.McDonald’s reported that same-store sales increased 5.1 percent in May, with sales increasing 2.8 percent in the United States, 7.6 percent in Europe, and 6.4 percent across markets in Asia/the Pacific, the Middle East and Africa.Red Robin Gourmet Burgers opened a restaurant in Brentwood, Calif.Ruby Tuesday Inc. signed an agreement with franchisee Bin Hendi Hospitality to open six restaurants in Abu Dhabi, the capital of the United Arab Emirates. The franchisee plans to develop 12 other stores throughout the U.A.E.
