Herring to Become Unified Brands' President

Former Avery Dennison pro to lead the multi-line foodservice equipment manufacturer.

Dave Herring will join Unified Brands, a multi-line foodservice equipment manufacturer, as president effective Nov. 17, 2014. He will replace Bill Strenglis, who will retire at the end of the year.

Herring was previously with Avery Dennison Corporation for 14 years, most recently serving as vice president and general manager for the company's General Retail & Industrial Solutions business. Prior to his time with Avery Dennison, Herring spent 12 years with Emerson Inc. in marketing, operations and engineering.

Strenglis will remain through year-end to assist with Herring's transition prior to his retirement beginning January 2015, according toa Unified Brands release.
